Stones

I will stretch forth My powerful hand 
And stop that mighty river in it's tracks 
I will blow upon the wet impassable earth 
Preparing it for your passage

I will hold back the water by My strong and mighty hand
You will walk right through  

The land I promised
Is right before you 

It's victory and abundant joy 
It's rest and peace forevermore


Bring a stone with you to the other side 
As a memorial 
That I stopped the Jordan from it's powerful flow 
Giving you passage to the other side

The other side of troubles and temptations

The other side of sickness in your body and spirit

The other side of strife and unbelief

I delivered you 

 Put your stones where your children can see them
And when they ask

"What are these stones?"
You will answer and say

God delivered us from our past
And gave us land 
Where destiny and purpose are fulfilled   

Pick up your stones 
Carry them to the other side
They will stand forever 
A memorial to your children 
Of what God has done

Untangled lines Catch Fish Read John 15:1-14 Sometimes the cares of this life get me tangled into a knotted up ball.  As the day gets going, I sometimes find myself unable to reach the plan set before me. And I hear "Take Heart - There is hope" We took our very young grand sons fishing And they were so excited... It didn't take but a few minutes before their fishing lines got so tangled that papa had to cut them off and start over. In John Chapter 15  Jesus is saying that He is the true vine and that His Father is the vine dresser. Immediately upon reading this I realize God, my Father, wants to prune every branch in my life that is tangled up and choking out the productive branches. Because they are keeping me from being connected to the vine, which is Jesus. I think it is interesting that this scripture refers to us as branches and Jesus as the vine. A Threatening Storm

  A Threatening Storm What appeared as the greatest storm I'd ever face was upon me! I heard the Dr.s voice saying well there wasn't much clarification in the cat scan about that lump in the back of your throat but there's a lot of notes about what did show up... You have a meningioma tumor on your brain........ I immediately went into shock as I really never thought I would ever hear that word again in my lifetime. You see my former husband had suffered twelve years with a meningioma brain tumor and it finally took him home to heaven. So with uncontrollable tears streaming down my face I really didn't hear much more except he would schedule me for an MRI and an appointment to  see a neurologist. I left his office completely numb and in total disbelief of what he told me.
